To the researchers, longtime customers, and friends of Peptideware:
It is with a heavy heart, and after a long day of reflection, that we are announcing the permanent closure of Peptideware, effective immediately. As of this afternoon, our storefront is no longer accepting new orders. Every order placed prior to today has already shipped. Any order that was placed after 11:30 AM today will be refunded in full to the original payment method within the next several business days — no action is required on your part.

Why we are shutting down
The regulatory landscape for research peptides has shifted hard in 2026. The Ohio Board of Pharmacy — the regulator with jurisdiction over operations like ours — has spent the past year issuing summary suspensions, fines, and consent agreements against pharmacies, clinics, and distributors handling peptides like BPC-157, AOD-9604, and ipamorelin, formally characterizing them as unapproved drugs that may not be compounded or sold in the state. The FDA has continued to push in the same direction, and Peptide Sciences, the largest research peptide supplier in the country, voluntarily closed in March.
We have always operated openly — research-use-only labeling, third-party verified purity, no compounding, no dispensing. But the ground under small operators like us has gotten thin, and we would rather close cleanly, with our heads held high, than wait for it to give out under us.
What this means for you
If you ordered before today, your package has already shipped on the normal timeline. If you ordered today after 11:30 AM, we cannot fulfill it — a full refund will be issued automatically to your original payment method within a few business days. You do not need to take any action, and we will absorb the processor fees on our end.
The site will stay online for a short transition period so you can still pull invoices, certificates of analysis, and order history. Our reconstitution guides and educational content will remain freely available as a parting gift to the research community.
